I feel the softness of your touch,
When I feel your smooth skin..

The strong support I feel,
In your chest where I bury myself in..

Its the warmth that I feel,

When I hold you in my arms closet..

When I wrap my tired frame, all around you..

Hugging and holding you,

Innumerable times your clothes have been soiled
Your shoulder soaking wet in morning as I drooled all night

Laying on my bed, lying so close to you..
I feel I have shared a big chunk of life with you

I so appreciate you.... and your care...

Ah those simple gestures, unintentionally made

Those little things u do making me feel u care..

Rarely though, like once in blue moon..

but u manage to fill the voids of time

when u decide, to let it pour…

I wonder why..this game… ?
of Not pouring till it dries…

It's not that u forget but u get so involved ..

with the world that fascinates you with continous change of call

But no matter how far, how engrossed you get..

I have seen you returning, to share your best,

With same twinkle in eye as a child wud have..

“ can u guess what I found..”  written all over ya..

I wonder and wonder again and again..

How you didn’t see time fly n if my wait went in vain..

Silently, I listen and hear you u speak,

Joy of new venture and learning of thee ..

I wunder if you noticed.. the wrinkle near my eye..

Or if you ever  wondered what I did all this while..

Silver lining in my hair that I can no longer hide..

I wonder if you noticed u took with you my share of time..

Then abruptly you stop, mentioning ur tale..

And quietly mention how time has changed..

I see  ur eyes soften as u look deep into my eyes

Trying to read what you left behind…

You gently caress my face with that known smile..

Its been long since we spoke , u say  ..

As if you knew where I was all this while,

When I got up, and when I had a fall..

Your look says you knew it all…

You mention how pretty salt and pepper looks

And how it is now THE IN thing..

I smile and try to avoid those silly talks …

You ignore n mention  my own stories taking me off guard..

Shocked n speechless , I wonder and ask

How did u know all that, u wernt around..

A kind smile then adores ur face

There it was .. it was pouring again..

I could see the parched voids of time being filled by the rain..

yaad aata hai jab jab...

ek guzra zamaana sa lagta hai...

Likhtay likhtay spelling bhool jayay,

tou type karkay dekhna padta hai ...
aye kalam apna rishta,
ek bhoola fasana sa lagta hai...

yaad aata hai jab jab...

Yeh na samajhna,
ki duniya bhool gayee hai tumhein,

"confirmation of original" mein abhi bhi tera danka hai...

Tu khud ko lachaar na samjhna kabhi,
na maan mein koyee shanka rakhna...
Tu kya hai...aur tera darja kya hai..
tu tou dost CEO hai ban chuka ..

Kitnay hi pannay teri jagah,
printer kay cartridge kyun na ho naseeb,
Chahay unginat web pages par ho,
shabdon ki bhar bheed,

Chai..

छुट्टी है ...और आँखों में अभी भी नींद है.

ठंडी ठंडी सुबह में हलकी हलकी धुप है..

उबासी लेते हुये आलस की चपेट में 

चाय की मन में उठती तलब है

पानी, दूध, थोड़ी शक्कर जादा ,

घस्सा हुआ अदरक चाहे जितना चाहा...

फिर चुस्क्कियूं से भरा गरम गरम प्याला..

वाह री चाय सुबह का रंग बदल डाला..

बस थोड़ी देर और..

एक तूफ़ान रोके बैठी हूँ,
तेज़ उफनती नदी का ,
बांध बन के बैठी हूँ ....
उम्मीद है मेरा रुआं रुआं झेल पायेगा
अब तक सहा है,
कुछ दिन और रुक पायेगा...
पल पल गिनते गिनते
लम्हे बिता रही हूँ...
बस थोड़ी देर और,
यह दिल को समझा रही हूँ...

यह इंतज़ार भी अजीब खेल दिखता है,
दिल को संभालते संभालते ,
क्या कुछ नहीं कर जाता है..
कभी जो हरकत बुरी लगी थी..
उसी पर प्यार आ रहा है,..

साथ बीते हर पल ,
दिल गुनगुना रहा है...
मेहेज़ एक ख़याल सोंच  कर,
 मुस्कुरा रही हूँ,
बस थोड़ी देर और,
यह दिल को समझा रही हूँ...

कुछ पूछना था तुमसे यार

आमा मियां , सुनो तो बरखुरदार..
कुछ पूछना है, जानाना है  तुम्हारा विचार..
चरस , गंजा, इन सब से रही अनजान..
लत क्या होती है नहीं था ज्ञान...

पर आज बहुत हिम्मत की है,
दुनिया से एक छुपी बात करनी है...
लत लग चुकी है मुझको यार,
face book का चढ़ गया है मुझे बुखार..

कहाँ तो नज़र न आना सालों तक,
पर रोज़ तुम्हारे update में हैं हम अब....
क्या तुम्हारी भी येही स्तिथि है ??????
इसमें किसकी गलती है...???

सोंच रही थी FB को letter लिखूं ,
या legal notice का करदूं एलान ..????
चार साल पहले शादी की थी,
पर आज लगता है laptop से हुयीथी...!!!

हर एक घंटे में notification का है इंतज़ार ,
रोज़ आज कल कविता करती हूँ atleast चार...
फिर comment की भी आशा रखती हूँ हर बार,
PHEW!
I know this is totally too much यार,
कहा था न FB ka chada hai bukhar...

जानती नहीं क्या है सार,
FB है या तुमसे जुडने का है ख़याल...??
पर लगता FB बहाना है,
तुमसे बस यह कहना है....

वोह समझे ....

मैं तो कर रही थी बयां हाले दिल अपना

वोह समझे की खूब शेर ओ शायरी की है..!!!

जब आसूं लफ्ज़ बन उतरे  कलम से

वोह समझे  की मैने कविता की है..!!!!

पूछती है दुनिया मुझसे, ये लफ्ज़ कैसे पिरोती हो तुम?
क्या जवाब दूं... कभी शब्द, यूं टिटोले न हम..
हाँ,... लिख देती हूँ... कभी कभी जो मन का विचार है..
समुंदर को भी भला क्या उसकी लेहेरों का आभास है ?
कब बनती... कब बिगडती..... यह कहाँ उसके हाथ है...
गरजते बदलते मौसम के साथ का प्रभाव है...

शब्द भी कुछ यूं ही मेरे मन का साज़ है,
कब सजे कब बजे, मन का प्रभाव है..
दिल की राय तो सिर्फ गूगा एहसास है ,
महसूस तो करोगे फिर भी लफ्ज़ का मोहताज है..
इस एहसास को सिर्फ शकल ओ सूरत दी है
और वो कहते हैं की मैने कविता की है..

जब आसूं लफ्ज़ बन उतरे कलम से

वोह समझे की शेर ओ शायरी की है..!!!

इन्तिज़ार....

आज रोको न मुझे ,दिल भर जो आया है...
समझाना तो न होगा,न बयां ही होगा हमसे...
सियाही में ही ढाल सकूं ,गनीमत होगी खुद पे..
एक टीस सी उठी थी ,तुझे जाता देख दिल में...
आज उसी टीस ने फिर सर उठाया है ..
आज रोको न मुझे ,दिल भर जो आया है......

यह इन्तिज़ार भी क्या बाला है , दर्द में मिठास सा जग आया है..
की हर जाता लम्हा , तुझे मेरे और करीब ले आया है.....
आंखें नम हैं ज़रूर , पर होंठों पर मुस्कान ने फ़रमाया है ..
बस कुछ पल और, और वो लौटने वाला है....
आज रोको न मुझे , दिल भर जो आया है.....

प्यार है या सज़ा ..... अर्ज़ किया है

"कभी हम दिल से कहते  हैं ,
कभी दिल हम से कहता है.
तव्वजो जिसकी रहती है ,
इन्तिज़ार उसी का होता  है...
जो आसानी से मिल जाये ,
तो फ़साना कहाँ बनता है...
थोड़ी तड़प, थोडा और इन्तिज़ार
तो हमेशा रहता है...
यूँ ही नहीं यारों ,
प्यार का दूसरा नाम सजा होता है...."
